About Your Teacher: VIRGINIA HILL

Kripalu Certified Instructor, Discovery Yoga, St. Augustine, Florida
Yoga Alliance, 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher
Yoga Practitioner for 18+ years; has studied asana (poses), meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and philosophy with respected teachers of the Himalayan Institute, including Sandra Anderson, Shari Friedrichsen, Luke Ketterhagen, Rolf Sovik, and Pandit Rajmani Tigunait; as well as Iyengar yoga with Iyengar certified teacher Julia DeHoff and Senior Intermediate teacher Colleen Gallagher; and subtle anatomy and chakras with Kripalu master yoga educator Christopher Baxter.
Presently working towards Yoga for All certification, under the mentorship of Dianne Bondy and Amber Karnes, so that all classes offered through Alligator Healing Arts Yoga are inclusive and a positive experience for yoga students of all shapes, sizes, and abilities.
In November 2016, Virginia also began training through Warriors at Ease, to better serve “the well-being of veterans, service members, and their families, and to foster meaningful connections between military and civilian communities.”
